Overview

Kansai-Asia Platform of Advanced Analytical Technologies (KAPLAT) bridges the emerging countries of Asia and the Kansai area of Japan in broad fields of chemistry and physics. The KAPLAT provides scientists of the emerging countries with easy access to front-line research equipment in Kyoto University* and Osaka University.** Such collaboration would be made sustainable through training of next-generation scientists. The platform organizes KAPLAT seminars and talent-spot events to train and recruit brightest graduate students from the partner institutions throughout Asia.***
